Henley beach is a popular tourist area and this neighbourhood is safe, friendly, pretty easy to get around, near many wonderful shops and cafes. Henley square is popular all year round with great cafes, Foodland and specialty shops with easy free under ground parking. For more info have a look at Visit Henley Beach website and Instagram account. If you love sunsets you'll be in for a treat as Adelaide beaches are well known for their beautiful sunsets. Henley beach is only a few minutes walk away. Take a glass of wine, or grab some fish and chips from the corner shop and sit and enjoy as the day comes to an end.

Hello Funky Peeps!

I’m slowly returning to social media after a two-month break to care for my mum, who suffered a devastating stroke. It’s been a heart-wrenching time, watching her struggle to come to terms with her new reality and the loss of her independence. Despite the progress she’s made, the road to recovery is long and uncertain.

I took a step back to focus on her care and my own well-being, and it’s been a challenging but rewarding experience.

And as I turned 60, I’m reflecting on life and the importance of friends, family, love, and support and have made a few life changing decisions. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be there for my mum, even in the darkest moments.

I’m easing back into hosting and it’s good to be back. I actually took myself on a little getaway to .junipergrove and loved every moment of my stay before welcoming my first guest back who is visiting from Glenlusk.
