Always know your pitstops!

When travelling in Australia, especially through the Outback it is always good to make sure you know where your next petrol station is. In some areas there may be up to 3 hours distance between stations!

Don't forget to unlock your phone for local Sims.

There is no guarantee that you will be able to use your current phone provider in all places in Australia, and roaming charges can be extreme. Consider purchasing a pre-paid mobile sim in Australia instead. Just don't forget to make sure your phone is unlocked from your provider.

If State hopping take a flight.

There is A LOT of space between major cities and States. If you are looking to see all the greatest hits city wise and don't have a lot of time, we suggest taking flights rather than driving. The drives are amazing but LONG.
