For most, seeing a Postie on their daily route is a familiar sight but what you don’t see are the increasing dangers they face on the road 🛣️

On World Post Day, we’re asking all Aussies to help protect our Posties, with a 30% rise in Posties injured by third-party drivers on the road 🚨 Many of these incidents are caused by speeding, distracted driving, and failing to give way.

We’ve implemented a range of safety measures across our vehicles, but it takes all of us to make the roads safer.

Here are some simple ways you can look out for our Posties on the road:

🛑 Slow down and stay alert, especially at roundabouts
🔄 Always check mirrors and blind spots before turning
🚗 Keep a safe distance from vehicles in front
🚶‍♂️ Back out slowly from your driveway and toot to alert
📵 Put your phone out of reach while driving

🏣 This week, we opened the doors to our Noosa Heads Community Hub, serving the vibrant coastal community in Queensland! 🏖️

Key features include Pups @ Post 🐾 a dog-friendly zone with ‘pooch parking’ and water station, an incredible custom mural by local Indigenous artist Zartisha Davis. 🎨And to top it off, we’ve added a surfboard wall—because Noosa’s beaches deserve their own wall of fame.🏄‍♂️

📦 We've also made parcel collection easier with a parcel hatch & 24/7 Parcel Lockers. A new chapter begins, and we couldn’t be more excited. 🙌

We've launched our ‘Koalas in Danger’ stamp pack in partnership with WWF-Australia to raise awareness and protect our beloved koalas. 🐨💚 With koala numbers halving in the past 20 years, it’s more important than ever to take action.

Over the past year, we've teamed up with WWF-Australia to protect and restore the homes of our beloved koalas. 🐨

Koalas are officially listed as endangered in NSW, QLD and ACT. To help raise awareness of the threats koalas face, we're delivering 1 million 'Koala Conservation' cards to mailboxes across Australia.

Each card highlights key conservation facts:
🏠 Habitat destruction, disease, and climate change are driving koalas towards extinction.
🌿 Koalas play a critical role in creating a a balanced ecosystem.
⌛ Without urgent action, koalas could disappear by 2050.
