Good Samaritan Ministry

Good Samaritan Ministry Influencing the tribal, poor and remote people of Eastern India, with the love of God in a practical way. GSM was started by Ashok Mishal and his wife.

GSM is a non for profit charity for the people of Orissa, India. We are a non for profit, non-political, interdenominational Christian charity, aiming to influence the tribal and remote people of Eastern India with God's love in a practical way. Projects are currently focussed in the Kalahandi-Bolangir-Koraput (KBK) districts in Orissa. These districts are internationally known for their high rate

s of hunger, starvation, poverty and lack of education. These areas often experience natural disasters, floods and droughts, in quick succession. Ashok grew up in one district of the KBK, and received education through a charitable mission. He now wishes to give people like himself the opportunity to change their future. This can be done through sponsorship of children, widows or pastors, or through particular projects such as Christmas gifts or other once off donations to meet the needs of those who require assistance the most.

Our bible college students are doing well. Keep them in your prayers, that they may be guided and equipped for His service. We will support them to be trained into Godly men who can serve him with passion and zeal.
