3 things that we do with our clients to ensure a happy, stress-free wedding planning process 👇🏼

This month we helped bring to life some incredible but very different weddings - all of which just wanted us to relieve stress, overwhelm and have someone to help them bring their dream wedding to life. Here's how we do it.

1. Figure out your non-negotiables

We sit down with you to figure out exactly what is important to you as a couple. With wedding budgets and a million and one social media pics to compare yourself to, sometimes knowing what’s important to you as a couple is lost among what’s ‘trendy’ or how much someone else is spending. Once you know your non-negotiables, then we can move forward to create your vision - everything else is a happy bonus!

2. Liaise with suppliers on your behalf

We hear from our couples that managing the plethora of suppliers needed for their wedding day is one of the most daunting parts. That’s why we take this off your hands! We manage everything from briefing them on your vision, to pricing negotiations and one-the-day set-up!

3. Create your wedding day run-sheets and styling schedule

Having a run sheet is so important to ensuring everything on your day runs to plan. We think of everything - from the smallest details to your reception entrance - we map out the important bits so you don’t have to!

Top 5 Wedding Trends you’ll see in 2024 👇🏼

We’ve collated the Top 5 Wedding Trends we are predicting to see incorporated into the next wave of celebrations of loved-up couples.

1. Colour - It’s goodbye to whites, creams and pastels and hello to bright and bold!

2. Patterns - Quite possibly our favourite trend prediction, patterns are hitting the wedding scene and we cannot wait to see them! Patterns are a great way to add depth, personality and a pop of difference.

3. Alternative attire - Traditional wedding dresses, suits and bridal party attire are set for a shakeup with couples choosing to opt for modern and versatile options. We predict to see bridesmaids in suits, brides in colour and grooms in alternative suiting options!

4. Sustainability push - Electronic invitations are a great place to start along with locally grown florals, eco-friendly guest favours and zero waste catering.

5. Micro Weddings - While we adore largescale weddings and the grandeur that they bring, micro weddings (guest numbers typically no higher than 50) are on the rise, with couples opting to invest higher into the experience of the day than the number of attendees.

3 tips for couples getting married overseas 👇🏼⁣

Getting married overseas can be an amazing experience, but it also comes with its unique challenges. Here's our top 3 tips to prepare for your destination wedding:

1. Understand the legal requirements for getting married OS
Each country has its own rules and regulations, which can vary from country to country. Some may require you to arrive a certain number of days before the wedding, while others may have specific documentation requirements. Ensure that you have all the necessary paperwork, such as birth certificates, passports, and any required translations or certifications before heading off!

2. Research the weather
Picking your OS wedding date will heavily depend on the region and time of year. Research the weather for your chosen destination and consider your preferred wedding season as a first step. Spring and summer are popular for outdoor weddings, but they can also be more crowded and costly. Autumn can offer beautiful landscapes and milder temperatures, while winter weddings can be magical, especially in places known for their snowy charm. Lastly, be mindful of peak tourist seasons, so your guests don't have to pay 50% more on accomodation in these periods!

3. Keep in mind local customs and traditions
When booking an OS wedding, being mindful of cultural differences and traditions is essential. Incorporating local customs or elements can add a special touch to your celebration and create a memorable experience for both you and your guests.

Gather Round at Sôl Rooftop🍷🏉

In April we were engaged by South Australian Tourism Commission to set the scene for a VIP lunch at Sol Bar for Gather Round weekend.

The Brief: include the iconic South Australian logo throughout the venue, with a nod to our amazing local produce - including SA seafood, wine and meats.

We styled pre-lunch drinks out on the balcony, followed by lunch inside. We made sure to showcase Sol's incredible 360 views of Adelaide, with each side of the room representing a different Adelaide region - depending on the outlook from where you were standing!

Definition – Styled Shoot: A styled shoot is a staged wedding or event that provides various creatives and suppliers the opportunity to showcase their work and present ideas to prospective clients.

From the outset, we knew that we wanted this shoot to be epic. To push new ideas and styles while bringing through touches of vintage glam, all with our own TSG twist!

Styled by our talented team and shot by Siana Siliquini, our styled shoot was inspired by opulent Italian styling x old Hollywood glamour - featuring rich textures such as velvet and ribbed candles, vintage Italian crockery, bold coloured stationery and florals.

Ruby Red Flamingo, one of Adelaide's most iconic Italian restaurants, featured as the backdrop for the shoot, with the eclectic interior pairing perfectly to the rich, moody tones of each tablescape.
