Sharing is caring and wild dogs are masters at it. No one in the pack walks away with an uempty stomach. Regurgitation is used by those who have eaten the most, as a tool to share with the weak members, the youngsters and with those who have remained behind to guard the litters.

We found this duo of cheetah’s brothers on an early morning drive. Lions were roaring from the same side of the river, therefore they carefully decided to change area. Amazing to observe how they perfectly work together, one facing behind towards the direction the roaring was coming and the other to the front to scan the opposite side where they were heading.

A cluster of male African Painted snipes at dawn. These guys spend a lot of time and energy looking for an elusive female counterpart and once they have succeeded in mating and she has laid the eggs...she takes off! leaving the task of incubation to the male, while she breeds with several other partners in the same season.

This absolute beauty is a male Saddle-billed Stork. His gender is revealed easily by the dark colour of his eyes, in total contrast with the bright yellow of the females.
The presence of this species is one of the most authentic proof of health of the environment, particularly of fresh water areas.

A mini tower of cuteness.....
One of the most common ways giraffe mothers feed peacefully, without constantly checking on the safety of their calves, is to leave their offsprings all together and let a designated mother stay behind to make sure predators are spotted in time and the babies remain safe and sound. This is also a great way to let the "only child" socialise and have a good time.

This little fellow must learn how to stand up, walk and run in a matter of minutes from birth. While thinking about wildebeest migration we all take our minds to the herds crossing the Mara river, the calving time is another outstanding period to witness. It is time to and to think about being there next February.
