Leaving with guests from PALM BAY Resort this morning, we went past Atlantic Clipper which was anchored off Happy Bay - their guests were having a fantastic time using the water slide!

I just had another amazing day with some guests from PALM BAY Resort

We were just going out for a half day snorkelling tour and a visit to Whitehaven beach, however, things got carried away with the superb conditions so we sort of stayed a bit longer 🤔

Water temperature was 29 - 30°C and very calm.

Everybody was talking about the lovely post for my special guests yesterday - Tania and Richard who proposed (Richard) on Whitehaven beach.

Further to our trip today, this absolutely lovely couple who came out for a private charter have some exciting news - we had a proposal!

Richard had made me aware only 2 days ago of his intentions and I assured him that I would find a great place that we could leave Tania if she said NO (just kidding folks 🤣) - of course she said yes, these guys are so in love 💕

It was a very enjoyable day for me and is something that my pride and joy "Paradise Explorer " is absolutely perfect for.

Gabby and her family are here today off a cruise ship and we have headed over to Hook island for a snorkel.

Marijke and Aart are visiting Australia for a few weeks and are from the Netherlands.

Heading out or a trip to Whitehaven beach today are Ruth and her son Dylan. They are from Townsville and are doing a cruise on the Quantum of the Seas.

It's a bir cloudy ar the moment but absolutely flat calm! - I booked some sunshine 🌞 for mid day!

Having a maintenance day today before going overseas tomorrow to an exclusive resort for a couple of days R&R.

It was time to replace the old one as it was going very rusty after 8 busy years.

We had a late decision charter today for some French guests staying at PALM BAY Resort - originally, it was looking good, however, the fresh Easterly winds that built up yesterday, made a trip to Whitehaven beach doubtful.

In the end, we explored much of the western side of Whitsunday Island before running up to the top of Hook island to see George (the Hump headed Maori Wrasse) and then having a nice snorkel in absolutely calm conditions at Stonehaven Anchorage, before returning to Palm Bay late afternoon.

Thanks so much to Laurie, Didier, Nathalie and Thomas for your company today.

Safe travels tomorrow, on your way back to Sydney.

Bit of a late post but as it was such a great day with a lovely French couple, in spite of the testing conditions of huge tides and a nasty Easterly, we got there in the end.

Thanks so much to Sailing-Whitsundays.com for making this booking, Marie and her partner Maxime are currently living in Sydney and came up here for a visit in a camper van- I am positive that they will be back again! 🤩

Sometimes, cruise ship passengers charters can be a bit hard to cater for - wind and tide conditions can make an itinerary difficult, as well as the ships timetable for arriving and departure.

Fortunately today, everything worked out perfect for me - early transfer to shore, lovely guests, calm seas, sunshine and a high tide!

The Whitsundays has got a lot to offer but sometimes we have to be a bit patient for it to all come together for ourselves as well as our visitors

Following on from my post this morning, I had a really enjoyable day with such a beautiful family - Vivian, Peter & their sons Casper and Morris are from Sydney and are doing a cruise on the "Ovation of the Seas" up to Cairns.

The weather was perfect and while the tide was extremely high today, making us wait ages for it to drop so we could go snorkelling, it all worked out rely great in the end.
