The Christmas trees have been packed away, and the gingerbread man is no longer in sight. BUT fear not, because now the tasty hot cross buns have hit our supermarkets! Just like our festive foods, accommodation gets booked swiftly, as swiftly as the night fill team fills our shelves. Did you know there is a dual path that follows the coastline? 💙

Walk, cycle or take your loved one who uses a mobility scooter/wheelchair.

Smell and taste the salt in the air

The boardwalk starts from Ellen Cove to Albany Port an approximate 3km one way. This boardwalk path winds around the coast with stunning views that will invigorate your heart and soul.

This section has rolling hills, while there are tracks leading down to rocky vantage points or up to lookouts which are only suitable for walkers.

This whole walk is on shared paths with cyclists, so please keep left.

Stop at Middleton Beach by Ellen Cove for a refreshment, let the kids make use of the pirate ship playground while you watch and unwind or go for a swim in a safe and protected swimming area.

Albany Golf course is the oldest golf course in Western Australia, established in 1898

The Golf course is nestled on the South Coast of Western Australia between Emu Point beach and Middleton Beach with magnificent ocean views of King George Sound.

This course mirrors an authentic Scottish experience, providing a close resemblance to the Scottish golfing ambiance.

Situated in between King George Sound and Lake Seppings the Albany Golf Club is regularly visited by Long Neck Fresh Water Turtles on their yearly egg laying pilgrimage.

Stirling Range, another worldly place!

There are 43 named mountains in Stirling Range National Park. The highest and the most prominent mountain is Bluff Knoll which stands at 1099 meters above sea level and with a prominence of 650 meters.

The area supports 1500 plant species. At least 87 of these plant species are found nowhere else in the world.

The park is home to five major vegetation varieties, there are thicket and mallee-heath on the higher ground, woodlands, wetlands and salt lakes on the lower slopes and plains

The deep, south-facing gullies provide a thriving sanctuary for a diverse range of ancient species.

The combination of mountains, wildflowers, bird and animal life, the Stirling Range is a popular destination for a variety of visitors.

Listed as one of Australia's 25 best hikes, Bluff Knoll provides an admirable and rewarding challenge for bushwalkers.
