"Oh Nilla - you must have picked up on my thoughts, I've been thinking of messaging you ALL day! What a joy it was being in your beautiful kitchen cooking delicious wholesome food... I really do miss the shop for that reason - being surrounded by my people with wonderful food that inspires you to be creative! I truly felt so lucky to have been a part of the day! It really solidifies the importance of food, culture, heritage, sharing, experience, friends, family and love... It filled me up with immense joy! You have a true gift Nilla and it's wonderful to see you immersed in your passion ๐

Thank you for your beautiful email- and a fantastic afternoon of cooking in your amazing kitchen! It was unexpectedly overwhelming to say goodbye, thanks for understanding my tears! I usually go home to visit my family in America every year or so, but travel hasnโt been on the cards and I try not to think about how much I miss them. You remind me so much of my Italian aunties- the heroes of my childhood! Like you, they make everything with love.
I learned so much on Saturday and I canโt wait to make more pasta; Iโve already ordered a large ravioli tray like yours.
Please let me know if you ever want some help around the kitchen or garden- I just bought a house only a stoneโs throw away!

I am truly lost for words when I sit and read what is written by our participants about their experiences in Nilla's Italian Kitchen.
This is something that warms my heart, and feel very honoured that in some small way we are making a difference in peoples lives.
I had one participant say โInspirational, and I hate cookingโโฆto help bring the love back into cooking and food is such a blessing.
