Tawny frogmouths form lifelong partnerships, staying in the same territory for years. During breeding season, the male grooms the female by gently stroking her plumage for 10 minutes or more.
Thanks to the Desert Park for sharing! 🤠

Larapinta Trail Inspo
Are you a keen hiker and considering taking on the Larapinta Trail?
Here's a bit of inspiration from @tourist_thebus who recently took on sections 4-6 from Standley Chasm to Ellery Creek South. With marvellous mountainous views, beautiful swimming spots, and stunning sunsets and sunrises you can give smaller sections a go or conquer the full 231km trail.
Simpsons Gap is a stunning spot located only 20 minutes down the road from Alice Springs. It's a great spot to checkout in the afternoon and keep your eyes open for any black-footed rock wallabies that might be hopping around on the rocky walls of the gap. The walk from the carpark into the gap is short and perfect for bringing little legs (kids) to go for a run around.
