Standing proudly against a backdrop of endless skies and ever-changing colours, Mt Conner is a true masterpiece of nature. Often mistaken for “the other rock,” this stunning mesa has a beauty all its own – especially at sunrise and sunset when the sky dances with shades of gold, pink, and crimson. 🌅

Here at Curtin Springs, we’re lucky enough to call this view part of our everyday life – and we love sharing it with those who stop to soak in its grandeur.
On a personal level, it is our family headstone, with our family, and friends, resting gently in the protecting of mountain.

Whether it’s reflected in the still waters or framed by the rugged landscape, Mt Conner reminds us of the quiet majesty that Central Australia has to offer and the resilience we need to endure.

Ada Bird Petyarre painting Awelye (Women's Ceremonial and Body Paint Designs) for Arnkerrthe (Mountain Devil Lizard)

The Arnkerrthe is a little lizard that is very sacred to Ada and the people of her country. The changing of its skin colour is represented by the colours used in this painting.

Ada always painted like her personality: vibrant, outgoing and blatantly honest! She was a lover of bright colours, in particular blue, but also painted in more traditional and subdued colours.

Yum Yum ants for lunch! Have a look at these 2 gorgeous thorny Devils, just waiting for their sushi-style lunch trains to roll on by! They are so quick you hardly see them catch anything!
DID YOU KNOW?? - Thorny devils can eat around 1000 ants a day!!
