📣 Jim Jim Falls Opens TODAY📣
Access to the spectacular Jim Jim Falls opens from 4pm today. A 50km unsealed road followed by a 7km narrow & winding 4WD track from Karnamarr campground will get you to the start of the stunning 2km return walk. You will follow Jim Jim creek through a monsoon forest & over boulders finishing at a deep shady pool at the bottom of where the waterfall flows during monsoon months.
Marked arrows also take you to a beautiful beach area perfect for families where the water is shallow & warm with plenty of shady spots to enjoy the amazing landscape.

One of the most common questions we get asked about Kakadu is if you can take our cars into Jim Jim Falls…..
The answer is YES, go for it!

NT or WA?!

Judbarra/Gregory National Park is the second largest national park in the Northern Territory after Kakadu National Park, with an area of 13,000 km2.

Located 359km’s South of Darwin, it’s known for its 4WD tracks & stunning walking trails, as well as showcasing the transition zone between the NT’s tropical and semi-arid regions.

With 5 campgrounds to choose from, it makes for a great addition to your Top End or Kimberley itinerary to escape the crowds & seek different.

Where else can you watch a spectacular outback sunset while soaking in 37°C ancient, artesian water found in an Outback oasis on the edge of a desert?! 🇦🇺

Dalhousie Hot Springs are found in Witjira National Park on the western edge of the Simpson Desert in South Australia. The park is 4WD accessible only & home to more than 120 mound springs, used by Aboriginal people for thousands of years as a source of food, shelter and medicine.

A great place to stop & camp for the night, the two main ways to get there being from the North (500km south of Alice Springs) via Mount Dare, or from the south (Adelaide), via the Oodnadatta Track (190km northeast of Oodnadatta).

The main pool open for swimming, is the natural way to ease your muscles after a long day travelling across bumpy Outback dirt roads and wash away that outback dust.

What a view 😍!

This stunning spot away from the crowds is found in the bush camp section of Rawnsley Park Station.

Overlooking the southern side of Wilpena Pound, offers a range of accommodation options to suit everyone. The caravan park is set within beautiful bushland dotted with native pines and gum trees, and is a great base for exploring South Australia’s beautiful Flinders Ranges.

These campsites are a great option for people wanting to escape the crowds, but not facilities! With toilets & showers just up the road, you can enjoy the best of both worlds 🚿 🏕️
