Hello Winesday...Ooops I mean Wednesday. What a cracker day it is up here too. We're going for 25c and it's good Wine Tasting weather, that's our excuse any-way. We were blessed with so many fun loving guests who jumped on-board this week with either Timo, Mark or Grant. Everybody has a story to tell and over a nice drop of wine we're all ears. Don't forget too that there is no reason to leave your furry friends home coz there is always a spare seat reserved with us. Yep we're Mum & Dad to DORIS & DAISY so we get it!!

Well, of late, we have had quite a few guests seeking advice on "where is the best place to eat up here in The Barossa?"...Gotta say we are spoilt for choice but if you want authentic Italian you cant go wrong pulling up a chair at EDO Cucina. Yep they are the real deal and so is Edo and his beautiful wife Luana. Nothing is too much trouble, service with a smile and their food gets the Gold Yummo Award from the Boss & me. Check them out in their new home at Lyndoch-Motel In-Barossa. I've given up the number of times we have visited when we have some free time but the menu keeps changing and so does the Wine List. Today we sunk a pizza and a plate of gnocchi washed down with a bottle of Greenock Creek Wines 2023 Grenache. Hello Wednesday....The sound of a helicopter can be heard in the back-ground as I was collating photos of this week on-board AWW up here in our home-town. Yes we live in the delightful little village of Angaston (Founded in 1842) and today we have Santos Tour Down Under whizzing through our main street. When you next visit The Barossa come up here to explore. We have a variety of great food & wine options, Barossa Smokehouse Butchers- Angaston, Melba's Chocolates, Barossa Cheese Gully Gardens Barossa, a couple of pubs, playground for the kids, Casa Carboni (Cooking School), Gift Shops BAROSSA ART Gallery & Gifts, The Real Pantry even a handcrafted leather shop Sunshine Barossa Australia. The list goes on and on plus a working blacksmith shop in the main drag. On Saturday mornings we normally head off to the local Barossa Farmers Market which is always a great kick start. The beginning of 2025 is proving to be busy and we're enjoying our guests from near and far who have jumped on-board. We're all about show-casing our back-yard and thank you for liking what your sampling and buying. Supporting our Industry and keeping it alive and relevant is A Wine Wagon. Don't forget also that we are 2 and 4 legged kid friendly so don't leave them home or at your camp-site....bring them along for the ride. Well we are off and running into 2025 and loving it. Been some hot days but always cool on-board and in our Wine Rooms. Fun & mixed bag of guests joining us over the last few days celebrating life itself or even a few birthdays. They have travelled near and far and some returning guests which always gets a big tick here at AWW H.Q. We always ask if you like what your sampling please support our Industry and BUY.

Well it's the last day of 2024 and we're out cruising & fuelling the good stuff up here in The Barossa.
Was fun to have another fur baby on-board this week who met our "kids" DORIS & DAISY for a play lunch. Her name was Daisy too and was as cute as a button. Thank You to all our guests who joined us over the last year from Oz & Beyond. Everybody has a story to tell and we just love hearing them. A bonus is always when they purchase along the way and support our Wine Industry up here and many of the family owned business's. Thanks also to our hand chosen Wine Rooms that welcome us with a smile and normally a bowl of water for our 4 legged friends. Here's a little secret I learnt today...Try freezing grapes instead of ice cubes to have with your bubbly tonite...Catch ya next year.

Well today is The Boss's Xmas. Yep Timo from Ango was born in Tampere FINLAND. This morning he is making Rosolli consisting of Beetroot, Onion, Carrot & Potatoes which goes down well with Raw Fish (Herring) Tonite we will be drinking Finlandia Vodka. Normally a sauna is involved but that is still on our "Wish List"....Thanks for all our guests that jumped on-board in the last week. Good conversations washed down with some great wine...Even our DORIS & DAISY joined in the fun.

Who do you call when your saying hello to the big fella in the red suit, saying good-bye to 2024 and wanting some bloody good Pizza, Pasta and everything in-between. You phone that Dynamic Husband and Wife Team at EDO Cucina. I've said it before and I'll say it again..The real deal Italian Food up here in The Barossa & Beyond. Thank You for always delivering "smiles on dials" & "belly brilliance". If there is one thing we found this year, which was full of exploring new options, it was these guys. If you haven't checked them out head to the Lyndoch Motel....Our drop of choice is UBERTAS WINES....Their Merlot is a cracker.!.

Well today marks 1st December so a "pinch and a punch" from our AWW Crew. Now you can all officially do some silly dancing getting ready for some fun under the Xmas Tree. Good to see our guests buying some of our famous drops to celebrate with the Big Fella in the Red Suit later this month. Yep we have Wine, Beer, Port & Gin so ideas have been flowing, literally. Our Mr. Magic Mark has been out touring a couple of days this week and always puts "Smiles on Dials" Another great review......Is there anything that guy cant do.

HAPPY WINESDAY.

Well we're into full swing of Cheers, Beers & Reindeers up here in The Barossa. It's not always about Wine......there's also Cheese, Chocolate, Gin, Community Shops, Donuts & yes Beer. We now have Live Bands playing on the weekends and even Karaoke on Saturday Nites. All you need to do is phone Timo from Ango and he'll structure a day of fun for you. We do local pick up and drop off plus Lunch is included. It's a full day and you can also bring your fur baby along for the ride. The only thing we ask is if you like what you drinking please support our Wine Industry and buy a bottle or two along the way. It's Fri Yay again and the wheels keep on turning. We have had Kiwis, Germans, Swiss, Dutch Belgians, South Africans, Scottish, English & Canadian's. Bit of a United Nations Mix on-board this week. You know what they all supported our Wine Industry up here and purchased along the way to take on their travels. That's what A Wine Wagon is all about. If you like what your sampling please support our Cellar Doors of choice. They will love you for it. Our DORIS & DAISY even joined in the fun with a couple of our guests as you can see. A few fury hugs goes a long way. Our Mark has a busy few days ahead and Timo still has seats available for Sunday.
