The Role

As a support to the property management team you will be responsible for supporting and assisting with the overall running and organisation of the property management portfolio. You will have a hand in property management administrative duties such as creating procedures and processes to support the efficient running of the department, undertaking general administrative tasks, and providing general support to the property managers to assist them in undertaking their roles and ensuring homes are beautifully presented and guests and home owners are well supported.

Your typical day-to-day responsibilities will include:​

- Undertaking general administration, and creating processes and procedures to ensure the efficient running of the office.
- Supporting property management staff in the day to day management duties.
- Overseeing the facilitation of maintenance on homes.
- Inspecting homes to ensure they are presented immaculately and ready for guest arrivals.
- Managing the guest experience and responding to guest messaging.

NOW HIRING - ASSISTANT HOLIDAY HOME MANAGER //

Are you interested in being part of a dynamic team supporting the day to day operations of the holiday rental department? This role suits someone who has strong attention to detail and likes the idea of working in a supportive and customer service focused role. The role is also ideal for someone who is looking for flexibility in the hours worked, we can structure the position to suit a school mum, someone who wants part time hours only, or can structure it to suit full time by adding some additional responsibilities to the position - we are generally quite open and flexible and understand that most people live/work in apollo bay for the lifestyle so this is obviously something we are mindful of.

The Role

- Property inspections and cleaning checks to ensure holiday homes are beautifully presented for arrivals.
- Liaising with guests to action booking enquiries, questions, check ins and check outs and troubleshooting.
- Build property compendiums, guest guides and information on the local area for guests.
- Assist with day to day general administration duties.
- After hours on call rotation with time in lieu / overtime offered.
- General assistance and support to the property management team.
- Occasional cleaning (generally only in peak times if there are staff shortages).
- Overseeing stock and ordering schedules for linen and supplies.
- Arranging property marketing and photography.

Requirements​

- Must have own car and current drivers license
- There may be some after hours/weekend involvement so flexibility and adaptability is a must.
- Have a creative flair, can think on your feet and outside the square.
- You must have Customer Service experience.
- Flexible role in the way it can be structured ie: school hours / part time / full time - we are open to trying to ensure this suits your lifestyle.
- Ideal for someone who wants career progression and to learn to become a holiday home manager with their own portfolio.
