Found this old photo of the family of kookaburras that visited for years. The brownish tinged scruffy ones are the juveniles, looking for an easy feed of mince. The one on the right, we nicknamed "Mervyn".....very chubby and a real character. On one occasion he hitched a ride inside our ute from the villas, the 1 km back to our residence.
