A great news story that a missing hiker being found at Kosi!

Not sure about the description of me at the end of the story though!

The remarkable rescue of a 23 year old man lost for 13 days in dense scrub inside the Kosciuszko National Park has focused attention on what bushwalkers can do to maximum their chances of survival if faced with the same tough circumstances.

Pinning your goals to hopes won’t guarantee success.

In fact, it’s more likely to see you fail.

Having your goal rely on hope that part of your plan will come together means that your goal needs to go back to the drawing board.

It needs a firmer platform to stand on.

It may need more steps to be put in place to get there.

The one thing I can tell you is that if you don’t achieve a goal, there is a better than even possibility that you pinned a part of that goal on hoping that something in there would fall into place.

You may get lucky and still achieve your goal.

But the odds are against it.

Stack the odds in your favour and take hope out of the equation.
