1️⃣ Download the handy Hamilton Island app before your holiday begins. It’s a great source of information, making it easy for you to keep up to date with everything that’s happening daily on the island. You can also use the app for ordering food, prebooking restaurant reservations, checking ferry timetables & weather forecasts and other useful info.
2️⃣ Hamilton Island is fully cashless – cash is not accepted anywhere on the island. Eftpos and credit cards are the only forms of payment.
3️⃣ November to April is peak season for Irukandji Jellyfish in the waters surrounding Hamilton Island but we recommend wearing a stinger suit any time of year. These are available from the island’s resort facility desks, and most reef tour operators provide them as part of your experience.

FAQ: Best time to visit?
With a mild average daily temperature of about 27°C year-round, any time is a great time to visit Hamilton Island. However, August to November is the warmest period, with the lowest average rainfall.
