Position: Part time Flight Instructor , Ballina
Air T&G are seeking a grade 2 flight instructor for our Ballina base, January- June on a part time minimum 3 days/week basis.
The position has scope to become a full time role for the right person.
Essential criteria:
Must be able to work Saturdays.
Checklist proficient
Disciplined and willing to standardise to company specific training requirements.
R22, R44 experience
Must be proficient in excel and computer literate.
Ability to work unsupervised and manage multiple students at any one time.
Organised, well presented.
Will consider applicants that are close to grade 2 qualifications.
Pay will be determined based on experience.

Happy New Year. 2024 was packed and challenging. We transitioned to a larger fire fighting aircraft, sold and shipped our UH1H, built another base 4 hrs away (this all in December mind you 🫠🤪) whilst still running our little flight school and other ops which seemed to hit some record numbers and is booked solid moving into 2025. 🚁🚁I’m not sure if I’d like a repeat 🤣, but we are grateful to our amazing little team who pushed so hard to help make it all happen. I know we will all enjoy a well earned break at the end of fire season. ✌️

21 years of playing in helicopters 🚁. What the bloody hell was I wearing? Maybe uniforms weren’t a thing in the NT in early 2000’s? 🤷‍♀️Anyway, it’s been a ride. Next step- Sikorsky
