The Easter weekend in Dungog keeps getting bigger – The Gresford Billy Cart Derby is back!

Our billy cart enthusiasts have had four years since the last Derby to fix up their carts and get them in tip top shape for the race ✨

It’s sure to be an exciting day with activities and stalls for the whole family!

Please note: there will be an intermittent closure of Park Street, East Gresford between the Gresford Showground entry and Durham Road from 8:30am-2pm for this event.

After more than 20 years of contribution to the musical life of Dungog, Sally Corbett vocalist and Paul McNamara jazz pianist are leaving the district.
This will be a unique concert showcasing musical talent in Dungog featuring the Royal’s newly acquired Grand Piano (formerly Paul’s piano!)
With PAD performers including Donna Cavanough and John O’Brien, Hugh Merrell and special guests Jeremy Sawkins guitar and Steve Armstrong Poet
$15 at the door all proceeds go to the Dungog Community centre

Jump in your car and drive up for lunch and a meander around. We’re a friendly bunch.

New to The Hood (well, a move down the street) is Sassafras and Billie & Grace. The talented Andrea and her team of lovelies have beautifully curated their new larger premises. Locally-designed and made quality ladies and children’s wear and toys are on offer.

Next door to them is the just re-opened and refurbed cafe renamed Styx & Stones. Serving scrummy coffee, gourmet sandwiches and other tasties with indoor and outdoor seating available.

Gotta love the Gog.

Snow on the way in the Barrington Tops…..yippee…but roads are closed up there so please heed.

Advice for our Forest Visitors: BARRINGTON TOPS FOREST ROAD

A cold front is expected to bring snow to areas of NSW this week, including State Forests of the Barrington Tops.
Please remember that Barrington Tops Forest Road is currently CLOSED due to major structural damage.
There is no access to the Barrington Tops from the east (Gloucester side) via this road. The road is dangerous and may slip/collapse at any time.
Please observe road closures for your own safety.
We are working on repairs as fast as possible, and thank you for your patience.
