I wasn't sure where I was going for dinner last night and ended up Wow what a treat. Thank you to all the staff who were fantastic and talked all things Veneto along with head chef and owner coming to say hi as he is from Verona.
Such a fun night and of course made me homesick.
We might even do an info evening here soon 🇮🇹😉

I was hesitant to book at the famed cave restaurant in polignano due to mixed reviews both from friends and online and due to the "tourist" factor but hey we were there so why not.
Well I can say it was a great experience with the food being pretty good along with pleasant service along with great company.
It's not cheap but on par with our fancy high end restaurants in Melbourne but with a truly different setting experience and of course it's ITALY 🇮🇹 ❤️

The first couple of days as usual have been spent with and family.
Tomorrow I head to HQ ready to welcome my guests on Tuesday. In the meantime I will be catching up with friends & family along.
I can't wait to hit the ground running after 5 years. Join me for the ride

My first morning back in Italy: one of the many things I love when staying with family or friends is the breakfast table is set the night before. Crockery , cutlery, cereal and tablecloth set.
Also when your dear friend even leaves out the green tea for you.
Enjoying the serenity just before the kids wake up.

This time in 2 weeks myself and my guests will be eating , drinking and diving deep into the traditions, arts and culture of this incredible town.
Our accomodation is just right of the photo looking over the beautiful Brenta river and the Ponte degli Alpini.
FYI: The wooden bridge was designed by the architect Andrea Palladio who holds much significance in the area ( more to come). The bridge has been destroyed many times, WWII being the last.

This is . We are a little bit excited as we are travelling to Italy together in April. Michelle and her husband supply with Italian wines they import.
We will hit the ground running in Milan then off to in Verona then head to their wine producers in Tuscany.
Can't wait to share this next adventure.

A lovely evening spent in Bassano. This is my cousin Filippo’s wife Ester with her brother visiting from panama. Baby Matteotti is due any day I just hope he arrives before I leave on Friday.
