Just one of our guests making their way back to Beechworth Waterfall Cottage. Seriously we love all our special wildlife and often find koalas sitting in our trees on the property as do many of our neighbours. They are special and we all look out for them.

Well this weekend with be full of fun, colour and Drag Queens. The organisers have done an excellent job to envolve the whole community and the Businesses have supported the event to make it not only a tourist attraction but a local event.
Welcome to all our special Ladies and we look forward to enjoying the next three days ahead. We are pretty excited and hope to see our guests enjoy this festival in the coming years.

Life at the Cottage is very quiet thanks to the Victorian Government closing the whole State on a regular basis. Our lovely Melbourne guests have cancelled for the long weekend in June as they cannot travel. So for the rest of the State it is business as usual and we are able to welcome our NSW guests as travel is allowed and the dates are available give me a call on 0450609344 if you need a country break.

Well it was a quick visit this week to Beechworth and such a shame I did not take pictures, the autumn leaves have just started so anyone heading there for April is in for a huge treat. I did manage to make cumquat marmalade which I am sure the guests will enjoy.

We have installed Waterfall watching seats! We took a call this week from a future guest asking if we really did have a waterfall in the backyard? we do! and under the trees is a perfect place to relax, take in the view of the falls, with a good glass of local Beechworth Chardonnay.

Is there a Koala season? There seems to be in Beechworth and especially at Waterfall Cottage. Take a walk in the gorge and you will be sure to get up close with our local pets
