Perfect weather has seen great crowds at Winton Motor Raceway for the 47th Historic Winton Austin 7 Club, Restored Car Magazine and Visit Benalla ran a competition as part of the 47Historic Winton.
Rob and Anne, long time attendees, won 3 nights accommodation (Rushton Cottage Benalla) picnic lunch, 12 bottles of regional wines Entry into Historic Winton over the full event. Well done to all participants and sponsors.

Andrew Makohan, president of the Ukrainian Australian Association in Sunshine cycled from the Bonegilla Migrant Reception Centre, through Benalla and Seymour and down to Station Pier in Melbourne, as part of this trip Andrew called into Hut 11 (Home of the Benalla Migrant Camp Photographic Exhibition) located at the Benalla Airport.
To greet Andrew were Sabine Smyth and the Benalla Migrant Camp Committee and several Benalla locals. Representing the Benalla Rural City Council were Mayor Cr Bernie Hearn and Cr Punarji Hewa Gunaratne.

The Benalla Film Festival followed on from a Film Workshop organised by two Benalla locals, Anna Smith and Bernice Vance, in 2013. The Benalla Shorts 2021 has continued to bring great short films. Krista Vendy, John Orcsik and Tony Bonner AM judged the 2021 Benalla Shorts films. Last nights 7th National Benalla Short Film Festival saw local filmmaker Charles Williams take out The $1,000.00 BEST SHORT FILM category. Announced and presented by judge John Orcsik.

It is with regret that Winton Motor Raceway announces the postponement of the 2021 Winton Supercars SuperSprint amid the unfolding COVID-19 situation in Victoria and impending 7-day lockdown.

The proposed new event dates will be 31 July-1 August 2021. This will be confirmed within the next seven days.
