The Bendigo Chinese Association 大金山中華公會 will be running the Lunar New Year Festival 2025 celebration at Dai Gum San on Saturday, 1 February from 4pm to 8pm.

Great Stupa of Universal Compassion will also be celebrating with their "Lunar New Year at the Great Stupa" events.

Come join Liz, the director of Botanical Lane , in a Kokedama Workshop. This is part of the Living Arts Space exhibition program.

Kokedama is the centuries-old Japanese art of working with ornamental plants and moss balls. In this workshop you will follow step-by-step instructions to make a compact and stylish plant creation to suit your décor and style, creating your very own Kokedama to take home.

All of the materials needed to create the Kokedama are provided for you. The workshop is ideal for beginners, no previous knowledge is needed!
