John & Leanne travelled by Virtu Ferry from Pozzallo Sicily to Malta and have just spent 7 nights with Titan Tours taking in all of Malta & Gozo Island. English is widely spoken being part of the Commonwealth and lots of history re the Knights of Malta and particularly WW2 where they were bombed more than London during the war. Cost of everything is very reasonable compared to Australia, not cheap but reasonable. Awesome hotel and great touring provided by Titan. Early morning start on the last day for a flight with Air Malta & Austrian Airlines via Vienna to Bucharest where we will have 7 nights with Titan Tours touring Romania. Lots of adventure to come.

John & Leanne have just completed 7 nights in Sicily. 4 nights at Casa Cifali B&B in Taormina, 2 nights on Ortigia Island Siracusa at Posta Hotel and 1 night at Mare Nostrum Hotel in Pozzallo. Very welcoming part of Italy and all public bus and trains were cheap and easy to use, no need to pre book at all. Mostly local tourists this time of year but there was a lot of USA tourists in Taormina, no doubt due to White Lotus. Weather 18 overnight and up to 28 during the day so an ideal time to visit. Seemed slightly more expensive than France but better in Pozzallo as not on the tourist trail. Taormina was a highlight and Pozzallo is notable mention for those looking to flop and drop relax style holiday. Food was amazing and generally very reasonable in price, so much to see and do, put it on your list. Today we have travelled to Valetta Malta on Virtu Ferries and Business Class was worth the extra 20 euro.

John & Leanne in Paris for 4 nights staying at Aparthotel Adagio Boulogne Billancourt. Train in from Lyon to Gare de Lyon. Caught the Metro with one change for 2.4 euro, cheap and easy. Eiffel Tower night shots for the first night. Free walking tour of Montmatre for 2nd day, lots of history and beautiful part of Paris. Highlight was Roland Garros for the French Open watching Alex win the first round, great day out and pretty relaxed event. Paris has been wonderful and the French so accommodating. Definitely worth a visit when heading to Europe, not expensive at all. Off to Taormina/Sicily next.
