Pine Plains Lodge...that magical feeling of the true Australian outback

Set on a cattle and sheep station founded in 1847, Pine Plains Lodge is a traditional homestead built from hand hewn local timber, and your ticket to a real Mallee holiday.

Come and share in the glorious sunrises, lovely days and lingering sunsets. With clear night skies, and stars so close you can almost touch them. Pine Plains Lodge is an unforgettable experience, an almost mystical ancient place where heritage and culture combine to create that magical feeling of the true Australian outback.

This pet friendly accommodation has two shared living areas with open fireplaces, a spacious communal kitchen, BBQ areas and open verandahs with spectacular views. We have a range of rustic rooms to choose from, including a bunk house and private rooms with queen size beds, all with air conditioning, wardrobes and heating. If you enjoy stargazing, you can visit our on-site Observatory where there’s a telescope provided for you to gaze at the spectacular starry night sky.

Situated in Wyperfeld National Park, Pine Plains Lodge is a 2 hour drive from Mildura and 5 hours from Melbourne. Accommodation is available all year round, but it’s best to book online early to avoid disappointment.
