2025 is well underway and is set to be another busy year at Constellation Journeys.

Our Southern Africa journey departs next month, followed in May by our exclusive private charter of the Emerald Sakkara in the Mediterranean. In August we head to The Balkans & Transylvania aboard our private train, closely followed by our journey to Japan featuring the Silver Moon, and finally Antarctica in November.

Whilst several of our 2025 journeys are sold out, we do still have some limited availability for Japan in October and Antarctica in November.

We are excited to introduce Richard Moras to our on tour team for 2025 and beyond.

Richard has been leading tours to all corners of the globe for 21 years. His first tour was to Sri Lanka in 2004 a day after the devasting Tsunami. He has a passion for travel, and experiencing new countries, cultures and all the people of the globe, with a special interest in the African continent, and wildlife photography.

Born and raised in Sydney Australia, he has also lived in London, England, for 2 years. Richard has 23 years of experience, in the airline industry in various management roles, which is how he became involved in Private Jet touring and logistics management.

When not on the road leading tours, he lives on the Central Coast north of Sydney, Australia. And takes every opportunity to get out kayaking, cycling and snow skiing in Japan and New Zealand.

I’ve explored some of the most breathtaking destinations on Earth, but nothing prepared me for the sheer majesty of Antarctica. This trip was truly the pinnacle of my travel experiences - a destination so untouched, so otherworldly, that it redefined my sense of adventure.

The moment we stepped onto the icy continent, I was overwhelmed by its pristine beauty. Towering glaciers, endless expanses of white, and the haunting stillness made me feel both small and deeply connected to the planet. Watching penguins waddle across the snow and spotting seals basking on ice floes was surreal.

Strokkur is the most famous geyser in Iceland. It erupts every few minutes. In the first phase of the eruption, a water dome forms. It is Iceland's most famous geyser, erupting about every 4–8 minutes 15 – 20 m high!!

CARTAGENA UPDATES.... Our arrival into Cartagena was watched by many locals, they were all amused by our Captain Brad who loves the spotlight! 🤣✈️

VIENNA - Site Inspection update... The Luxury Collection Imperial Hotel Vienna was the inspiration for the name of our ‘Imperial Class’ category on Eastern Europe by Private Train. Classic European hospitality in a 19th Century former royal palace which is tastefully furnished with precious, authentic antiques, walls cocooned in jewel-toned silk, and bathrooms made of marble, this hotel stay was a highlight of my trip so far! - Dan

WARSAW - Site inspection update.... Europe has many beautiful squares but my favourite is undoubtedly in Warsaw. Bombed to the ground during the 2nd World War it has been painstakingly rebuilt to its former glory. On Eastern Europe by Private Train in 2019 we have a free afternoon in Warsaw and I’m sure many of our guests will be found here enjoying the atmosphere. - Dan
