A visit to the is always a great day out. With recent rain the road has a few water crossings so care is needed. Normally accessible by 2WD a 4WD is the best option in winter. Make sure you check the road conditions before you head out. Continue on this road and you can reach for a treat. Magnificent mothers come to give birth and nuture their calves. We were treated to 20 individual whales (both mums and calves) all visible from the shore based viewing platforms. Breaching, spouting, tail slapping, sky hopping and fluke waving behaviours on show. Tremendous experience that will stay with you forever in this remote and unspoilt gem in and only a 60 min drive from township. Make it a day out and climb to enjoy magnificent views, stop to admire beautiful or take in a dose of pioneer history with a stop at the homestead. Get out there and enjoy 👣🦘🐳🌼👀
