Was quite the start to the storm season this week, even featuring a water spout on the Brisbane River… pretty crazy!
Was fortunately spared from the hail at the factory, with some welcomed rain to fill the water tanks & quite the light show!!!

What's your choice in portable BBQ's if you were to take one on a trip?
Weber certainly had the market share for many years, though in recent years & coming to market with their flame failure adoption in the Nomad model, Ziggy has certainly crept up there now also.
From owners feedback & using over time, hear they both have their pros, the Weber great for a slow cook roast, & Ziggy great for a hotter flame grill for steaks, with a much lower storage height.
Not discounting the other models on the market, if you have, know or use another & love it, let us know, be great to hear what's your favourite & why.....☺️🤷‍♂️

With the van outside the office, thought to put some wings in that were left over from the Copeton trip to share!!!

Pre-filtering mains pressure water before both filling water tanks & running through hot water systems is certainly a great way to minimise sediment damage. This also reduces a build up in water tanks for longevity of the water pumps, while maintaining the under sink filter just prior the drinking water tap.
They can be used as portable (pictured first), or fitted in line permanently on new builds (below), with a locally made custom stainless bracket with extra gusseting for corrugated travel.
These come as a boxed CR45 kit, with the portable stainless bracket & fittings for hose clip-ons both included standard, so just need a short hose adaptor if wanting to use as portable on a current van, & certainly add great peace of mind for cleaner water in the system as a whole!

Anyone for brekky....!?! ☺
Been working on some nice enhancements that can be added to the pull out kitchens for the Kedron owners:
# A new portable laser cut stainless table in final stages of design, which can be used in multiple spots with alloy drop in rail
# Portable induction cookers that fit into the recess pocket for storage
# Spice racks for salt / pepper/ oil / sauces etc - that also fit for storage under
# Addition of switched white / blue lighting - inside the pocket & underneath
# Drop in cutlery tray for drawer - allows storage under
# Drop adjustable stabiliser legs for additional stability
# Pull out fridge / freezer in front alloy box - with storage under slide.... & more coming...👍

With the increased solar harvesting into larger Lithium storage, is fantastic for utilising the addition of induction cooking, (even if keeping gas & having a portable induction for inside & out), allowing remote use of microwaves, toasters, coffee machines etc, all while taking away the draw of gas.

The external kitchens have been integrated into most layouts with drop door positioning, alloy box section raisers, & through floor stainless bolts that allows for fantastic fitment, & ease of removal if need be.

Makes for some fantastic external cooking, & in this case with a heck of view....!!! ☺
