WeilHouse Living has 4 unique properties in northern NSW under its brand. we have 3 farmstays located on our real organic/permaculture farm where we grow seasonal fruit and veggies and eggs for ourselves and our guests. Our farm has 3 horses, 2 sheep, 2 goats, 2 dogs and many free ranging heritage chickens for your children to enjoy and help feed. The fourth property is an off the grid hut for ho

It's been a big year for us ! If you've been on my page then you already know that I mix my business & personal life on here, & that my 15 year old daughter, Sahara does this crazy beautiful sport called equestrian vaulting, & as you know she wants to go to the Junior Worlds in 2025, which is no easy feat!

So, here we are, trying to figure it all out & give it a red hot go! Sahara is throwing everything she has at it & I'm racing to catch up! How do we actually pull this off? I sometimes think that not having a clue about what's actually involved helps a lot!

This hasn't been an easy ride, we live nowhere near any of the vaulting facilities & clubs, she doesn’t’ have a horse or her coach here, & to get some horse time she travels 16 hrs to Scone & back where she lives & trains for a week with her lunger each month. To say she's up against all odds, is an understatement! Yet, not everyone is fortunate enough to have a dream that lights the fire in their belly & drives them to push through all obstacles, of which there have been many!

So, my apologies for posting yet another fundraiser post, it's going to get worse before it gets better, the good news is that this will all end on Dec 2nd, & I'll be as relieved as you all are. I’m well aware this is not the best time to be asking for money, so I have very low expectations on how this all plays out, I'm simply putting it out there.

We acknowledge that financially times are tough in Australia, people are struggling and the first thing to stop is our luxury items, like shopping, eating out and taking holidays as we reign it all in and ride this difficult time out.

But, we're all in it together, SO, we have adjusted our pricing on all our properties to make regional local travel more affordable for you. If you're in hardship but need a holiday let me know and we'll work it out together.

I think it's important to have a holiday planned, it's good to have something to look foreword to and take the time to rest and recover.

This year has been a tough one for many of us, hopefully our pricing changes support us all

The winter school holidays are almost here! Are you feeling like a cosy winter farm holiday ?

We have 4 beautiful eco-friendly properties that embody our love of nature, beauty and simplicity, catering to the more conscious traveler, and for those of you who care about treating more lightly on our planet, without compromising your comforts.

Each property is designed to blend in with natural surrounds and make you feel a part of them.

Each property has a slow combustion fireplace and bonfire pit to enjoy with a glass of wine.

Our properties are styled with vintage and country collectables making you feel relaxed as soon as you arrive.

We have 3 farmstays on our organic farm in Bellingen, catering to a wide range of taste and budgets, with farm animals for your children to enjoy. Each of these properties has an outdoor bath for you to take in the magical night skies.

We grow beautiful organic produce for your stay and our citrus trees are laden with oranges 🍊 mandarines, lemons 🍋 Limes and lemonades for you to help yourself to.

Is it the place you stay in or the surrounding beauty? We think it's both. They should compliment each other, so subtly that you shouldn't notice where one starts and the other finishes. If you've done it right, they belong together.

As we slowly head into the cooler months, and wind our clocks back this weekend, our days grow shorter and colder and our little off the grid mountain hut is the perfect place to hike the many gorgeous waterfalls, watch the sun set and kangaroos dash across the rugged hills . A time to slow down again, go inward and cook some slow hearty stews fireside with a lovely glass of red.

There's a wildness to this place, there's so much beauty in it's rough edges , that it makes you feel alive in a way that's hard to describe.

She's simple, she's sweet and she's fully stocked for your weekend away

We have made some changes to the Bellingen Farm House in 2023 that will reduce the number of guests staying here, however, we have reduced our pricing to reflect that change.

We will continue to offer guests our entire farm ( all 3 houses) for special celebrations and large gatherings to enjoy for writers retreats, yoga retreats, meditation retreats, and the like.

I have a fabulous collection of Australian enamel bowls and tea pots and original country ceramics that span over 30 years. So, when you stay here you get to enjoy a step back in time and access to my beautiful collection of country collectables….and they just don’t make stuff like this anymore and it’s what makes this stay so special #

BELLINGEN & HERNANI: Our three farsmtays are located on our beautiful organic/permaculture “hobby”farm in Bellingen, growing seasonal fruit and vegetables and eggs. Our farm has 3 horses, 2 sheep, 2 goats, chickens and 2 dogs for your children to enjoy and help feed. Our fourth property is an off the grid recycled hut up in the mountains in Hernani, and would suit thosee who love to get away from the crowds and enjoy the Australian outback and bush. Catering for horse owners, hikers, and trout fisherman this holiday experience is for nature lovers and those looking to enjoy a holiday adventure.

OUR AIM: is to provide you with accommodation that is different and unique to what you would find anywhere else. All our homes are furnished with an eclectic mix of vintage and country collectables from around the world surrounded by incredible beauty and nature and that makes you feel at home and welcome as soon as you walk in the door. Each home is fully equiped with everything you need to have a fantastic holiday with us. Our aim is to provide our guests with an enviornment that fosters slowing down and reconnecting with loved ones. We hope that in this setting we can help remind people that it is often the simple things in life that bring us the greatest pleasure, and that with some quality down time away from the 'noise of our daily lives' we can come home feeling inspired, rejuvenated and connected again. RATES: Standard Rates: $550 per couple per night Holidays/Long weekends:$600 per couple per night Xmas/Summer holidays: $700 per night per couple Extra guests: $50 per extra person per night. Cleaning/linen fee: $200 Bring a group of friends and share the cost.
