The Victorian Government will be applying a short-stay levy .All bookings made either Direct or via Airbnb etc will have the fee added and is payable by the Guest .
Book before the 1st of January 2025 and the levy will not apply to your booking .

All terrain open!
After 38cm of fresh snow over the weekend, Falls Creek is excited to have 100% of our terrain open! With 14 lifts now spinning, skiers and boarders have access to 450 hectares of progression-perfect terrain.

With sunny skies this morning Falls Creek is looking incredible – just take a look for yourself. The mountain is blanketed in white .

Hello August!
Fresh snow alert!

After what can only be described as a terrible few days last week, the snow gods changed their minds and delivered a fresh 20+cm of fresh powder over the weekend, bringing our base to a whopping 115cm. Now that's the August we know and love. This week we're expecting to see up to another 30cm falling throughout the week. So, keep your thermals on and layer up for some great skiing around the mountain.

Snow much snow - we love it!
News flash – it’s dumping snow! 21cm of powdery goodness has fallen across our mountain in the last 24 hours, leaving our favourite place on earth looking more magical than ever.

Mother Nature’s hard work is not over yet. We’ve got flurry upon flurry in the forecast for this week.

From Parks Mount Buffalo :
G’day,

It’s going to be another cracking day up here on the plateau this Sunday with a nice and hot top of 8 degrees at Lake Catani - Rangers will be present at the entrance station ensuring park visitors are carrying snow chains and there are no pets on board for the ride into the National Park.

Dingo Dell Toboggan slope is still closed for tobogganing today due to lack of quality snow, however Cresta is still open for a slide.

Please be safe and aware on the roads as they are still very slippery and icy in some sections – take it very slow and easy - we look forward to seeing you up here when you choose to explore the park. 

Thanks to Parks Mt Buffalo -Todays report
-Beautiful sunny day up at buffalo today.
I have attached some photos of the mountain from yesterday. (Dingo, Cresta and Cathedral)
Make sure you drive carefully up the mountain.
Expecting the mountain to be busy today due to school holidays.
There will also be a checkpoint today at the entrance station.

There's more snow incoming
The weekend was filled with sunshine, but we’re buzzing with excitement for more snow on the way! Fresh flakes have been falling throughout the day.

With 40cm in the forecast over the next 7 days it’s all systems go...or should we say ride?! 😉

My apologies for the late snow report. Mt Buffalo is experiencing some internet network issues. As a consequence the EFTPOS machine at Dingo Dell is not working and the café can only take cash. Could you please notify your Mt Buffalo visitors of this issue. Food and drinks are still available.

The Horn cross country ski trail was groomed last night so most of the rain damage from earlier in the week has been removed.

A great time to visit Mt Buffalo as there is plenty of snow and Eurobin Falls, Crystal Brook Falls and Ribbon falls are quite a show at the moment.
