Do not buy off these guys. Very painful experience.
The experience was disgusting.
We talk to a representative before we left to buy a particular car. We asked whether the vehicle had been sold the reply was no it is still available. We had a 2.5 hours of driving back and forwards.
We go to the dealership we arrive there at 8:15 am.
We agree to the test drive.
Once we come back Ben the sales manager comes out and says the vehicle is sold, it’s sold 30 minutes ago.
Our test drive was 45 minutes.
He took a phone order for it while we where out in the car.
There is no consideration for his staff member working with customer or the customers themselves.
This could’ve been handled so differently and created a true customer experience with a couple of changes.
1) The salesman should have stated “before we go on a test drive there has been a lot of interest in this car would you like to secure it with a deposit”
2) The sales manager contacting the sales representative who is in the car with customers on a test drive. He should have asked “ I have someone putting down a deposit are your customers buying or not?”
Instead they were very happy to waste 7 hours of our time and driving to and from the venue. Rip the car away from under the salesman and potential customers with no apology or willingness to reconcile the situation.
This is the same as if you were to book a birthday party in a venue that didn’t ask to take a deposit. Calling them while you’re on the way into the venue on the day of the party and being told yes the table is ready. Then asked to get out because the deposit was not paid and the table has been given to another party. Without apology.
