Amazing to be able to have a quick catchup in Freo with one of my oldest friends... with cocktails after the most relaxing pedicure ever! The two eleven year olds who moved to Perth in 1988 & became friends for life would never have imagined being able to do that together after all these years.

Hello to my new fave venue... amazing cocktails & delish food too!

The "Apple Pie" was one of the best cocktails I've had for quite a while... complete with a nice wide cinnamon sugar rim.

I'll have to visit again soon... to try the new cocktail menu. Pub Choir is around the corner again next month!

Belated birthday celebrations for a very special friend. There was delicious food too... but we inhaled that before i remembered to take a photo or two.

We took the long way home closer to Suncorp Stadium... to listen to the last few Ed Sheeran songs from night one. At one spot along the walk home... it almost sounded like he was performing from the cottage across the road!

It's fabulous to be overseas for the first time since 2019... currently in Seattle staying at the very fabulous The Alexis.

Very happy to see their lobby bar open... even if only "softly".

This "One Flew over the Collins Nest" is quite delicious 💕

Another fabulous weekend in Sydney... topped off by another amazing cocktail bar to try! 🍸

Sitting at the bar... we got to see the very passionate bar tender create magic in a glass... create smoke bubbles for me to inhale... and blow bubbles for all of our amusement! 💕

It's always great to see someone who truly loves their job!!

Amazing dinner tonight... on a rainy winters night in Brisbane. Catching up with my cousin from Auckland after all this time, and M&D too.

All the food was incredible... especially the carrot dessert!!

After some delish dumplings in Chinatown... we enjoyed watching Sydney Infinity above the masses from the Champagne Bar.

My choice tonight was the Mistress of Marseille... the signature cocktail.

Always listen to the recommendation of the mixologist... especially about other fab places to try! A short walk from our first bar & down another laneway... we found this gem.

Loved my Salted Piña Colada in this moody & rather eclectic bar.

First cocktails of my Sydney getaway... mine was The Clarence House Gibson. The flavours were so complex & I could eat a whole jar of their pickled onions!

Love all the hidden bars in backstreet & laneways!

One of the best things about being your own boss is Monday lunch dates with friends... at the newly opened Patina Alumni Court.

It's been more than 20 years since we graduated... never expecting that such an amazing restaurant would appear on campus just around the corner from where we spent hours sitting under the big tree, the "ice cubes" or the Physiology refec. Even those areas are much fancier these days!

The iconic Jacaranda cocktail will surely always be on the menu.

The Golden Wedding celebrations continue... with lunch with Rich & Amy up from Melbourne. Delicious food, fabulous cocktails & wonderful gelato to finish.

This Bitter Spritz was a perfect accompaniment to a beautiful meal.

Discovered my new favourite gin today... BeachTree Organic Koala Gin... made in Caloundra. Aren't the bottles beautiful?! It tastes even more unique.

A Fathers' day tradition (started last year) was repeated today... indulging in some delicious French cuisine at Dad's favourite local restaurant.

My go-to cocktail here is the French Connection... Gin, St Germain elderflower liquor, lemon & spice!

Amazing night for a long-overdue catchup... eating way too much delicious food... and of course sampling the cocktail menu too!

While I've had takeaway pizza from this local gem before... tonight... we had dinner AND a show!

True artists performing beautiful choreography in front of the glowing wood-fired pizza oven. Thanks to Stefano & the team for a really fun night out.

It was fabulous to catchup with some of my fellow Personal Travel Managers & some of our National Partnership team tonight... especially after the 12 months that we've all been through!

The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter... so hopefully most of us can hang in there just a little longer!

PS... this Dragonfruit Mojito was worth the wait!!
