On Tuesday the 25th Of April 2023 Mr Peg attended the ANZAC march at Kallangur but before the march he dressed as an State Emergency Service (SES) worker and performed traffic control while watching the 2 x EA-18G Growler Aircraft perform a flyover.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them

On Monday the 24th of April 2023, Mr Peg was invited by the 4 Fishies to travel to Suncorp Staduim in Brisbane City to watch the Brisbane Roar vs Sydney FC.

There was much debate as to what price should be paid for admisssion and just as it was decided that as he wouldn't be taking up a seat, he could be classified as under 4 years old....well Mr Peg advised the 4 Fishies that while he would travel with them to the game that he wouldn't be needing a seat at any time and then he promptly walked out of the room and spent the rest of the day either in the study online or in the backyard kicking a soccer ball around.

There was an air of anticipation on the trip into the city and once they all arrived at the stadium, Mr Peg said his goodbyes after arranging where to meet after the game.

The 4 Fishies made their way inside the stadium and waited to see where Mr Peg would appear (and were hoping they wouldn't receive a call to bail Mr Peg out of jail). He didn't appear during the ANZAC ceremony or either of the national anthems but he jogged out onto the field with the Roar as he tried to be their main goalie!!! Well the actual goalie wasn't having that and after a bit of a kerfuffle Mr Peg was escorted from the field by two security guards. The 4 Fishies enjoyed the nailbiting game (The Roar did play well and should've scored at least one goal) and hoped that Mr Peg was being treated well.

After the game Mr Peg appeared at the agreed meeting point, ....with an entourage of screaming fans who insisted that he should be the new Roar goalie. The 4 Fishies quickly escorted Mr Peg away from the stadium and went home to relax.

Later that night Mr Fishie received a call from Suncorp Stadium asking that Mr Peg be kept away from all future games held there.....and to return their score board remote control as soon as possible!

Mr Peg suffered badly from jetlag and rested for a few days....the 4 Fishies suspect that it was his way of avoiding helping to unpack and deal with all the washing!

But on Sunday the 23rd of April 2023, he was well enough to attend a football (soccer ⚽️⚽️) match of Jake Fishie. Mr Peg was determined to learn all he could but the club would not allow him access to the field so he was relegated to the sidelines.
Unfortunately he was then removed from the sidelines also as his comments to the Ref were deemed unsuitable for an U15's match!

On Wednesday the 19th of April 2023 Mr Peg boarded the flight to Brisbane, Qld, Australia and was treated to an amazing sunrise. He was so amazed by it that he disobeyed the captain and took off his seatbelt before departing the aircraft for a picnic on the clouds while he took photos on his camera!

On Tuesday the 18th of April 2023, Mr Peg leapt on to a bag of spinach leaves and hid in the fridge waiting to be taken back to the family (known as the 4 Fishies) hotel. He knew that the 4 Fishies were heading back to Brisbane, Queenland, Australia after the family had just spent 10 days visiting family and friends in Christchurch, New Zealand. He would be sad to say goodbye to his Cookie Time bucket of other friends and most importantly, Miss J, but was excited for the adventure ahead!!

Mr Peg was discovered at approx 3:15am Wednesday the 23rd of April 2023, when the fridge was cleared out and the 4 Fishies decided that Mr Peg had to come with them as everyone knows Sunshine Pegs are awesome and survive the Australian weather quite well.

This photo was taken of Mr Peg in front of the windows at Christchurch Airport, while waiting to board his flight.

Two tips from Mr Peg re Christchurch Airport;
*Allow time to find your way - the signage is non-existent
*There is very little open at that time of the morning -with 4 flights waiting to depart there was only one food place and the tea was sorching hot but not very generous in terms of milk.

A tip from Mrs Fishie -allow plenty of time to visit the ladies restroom -3 toilets is not enough for that volume of passengers and there were babies having to be changed on the floor of the airport due to inadequate change facilities.
