CHAC ADMINSTRATION & LIBRARY | We successfully obtained approval for this stunning building which has become the entry statement to the Cannon Hill Anglican College primary precinct. The application was processed under Council’s RiskSMART program which meant assessment timeframes were significantly shorter than the standard statutory timeframes. The school’s desire to avoid the provision of additional car parking was attained by our careful analysis of previous approvals and examination of student numbers.

We are very proud of our team for lodging this flagship development in Stones Corner. The project involves two 12 storey towers plus a rooftop recreation area consisting of 226 units and a skybridge connecting the two towers.

We’ve worked closely with NMDS Architecture to ensure the development incorporated significant amounts of landscaping throughout the vertical and horizontal planes to create a “building that breathes” in accordance with Brisbane City Council’s New World City Design Guide.

The effect is a building that achieves a balance between built form and open space, minimises bulk and scale, transitions sensitively to adjoining sites, and will provide a positive streetscape interface to Cleveland Street, at both ground and above ground level.

Overall, the proposed structure presents architectural distinction and will act as a landmark site within Cleveland Street and Stones Corner.

B PLANNED // When we begin initial discussions with our clients, not only do we discuss the town planning and surveying matters, we also ensure that we discuss their intentions for the project to understand how they wish the end product to be structured.

These nine townhouses which have recently been approved in the Redlands are all on freehold lots with a common property driveway. By structuring the approval process as a combined application for a material change of use and reconfiguring a lot, the project has attracted higher sale prices as each townhouse has its own lot. This also results in significantly reduced body corporate fees given only the driveway is a common area.

For this project at Panitya St Stones Corner we were able to source a historic photo from the State Library that was taken in the 50's from the opening of the Langlands Park Memorial Pool.

The photo illustrated what the facade of the dwelling looked like and allowed us to justify our proposal to Council ✅

▪️Although the property adjoins residential properties we successfully negotiated with Council and avoided the need for acoustic fencing ✅

▪️We successfully negotiated to reduce the amount of landscaping Council were requesting ✅

Our Story

Since our first client in 2012, we have wanted to create a supportive environment that our clients would want to come back to. So we have built our team who are passionate about their industry and we have made it our mission to continually educate them in how to better understand our client needs. We actively encourage them to get out and experience what our clients experience, to understand the constant changes in the industry and in doing so our clients get the sense of real value in the delivery of our services.

Many people would assume that you would have a fair understanding of your industry having been through university, but it has been our experience that you really only get to know the industry having worked in it. That is no more so true when dealing with Councils and Local Government Bodies as they have their own ways, so when we set about to grow our services we took a close look at the experience of our senior staff. Brodie Fowler (Director) was employed by the Department of Education, one of only two Town Planners whose responsibilities it was to plan out greenfield educational requirements and draft legislation. Daniel Zilli (Director) was employed by Redlands City Council in a role that saw him resolving planning and environmental conflicts in turn increasing the number of developments being approved.

Having grown up locally, it is with real commitment that we’ve kept our office central to Carina. After all, as all Town Planners knows it’s not enough to build a city, they have to be strong and economically sound communities that can support each other. We encourage inter-business relationships with our local businesses and where possible refer work locally. We also give back to local schools and sporting facilities as part of our donation planning each year.
