Wow - hard to top my first night in Monte-Carlo!! Was a little surreal to be at the lighting of the Christmas display by Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Charlene and their twins Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques. Then to have sushi made just for us by a 2 Michelin star Japanese chef and to then be immersed in Amazonian food and culture at Amazonico - definitely a night to always remember!!❤️

How can this Parisian Bistro (opened in 1959) serve only a single course and have people lining up for almost an hour each lunchtime and dinner sitting?? Well we had to find out!

The walnut salad followed by thinly sliced sirloin covered in the famous sauce (the secret is in the sauce) + home made french fries really was very good. It's a restaurant where the menu hasn't changed in 65 years - nor has the efficiency and warmth of the staff. The desserts are to die for and wines sourced from Chateau de Saurs are on-point. If in Paris and wanting a genuine French food experience where you know what to expect - then lining up at Relais de l'Entrecote is well worth the wait!! You won't regret it :-)
