EVEREST LESS TRAVELLED ~ 11 December 2024

Towering at over 8848m (29,000 feet), Mt Everest is perhaps the most iconic symbol of challenge and adventure on Earth. Experience this mythical landscape first hand on a fully escorted December 2024 Everest Region Trek followed by 3 nights at the stunning Namho Buddha Eco-Resort with daily yoga & meditation in a private studio.

Led by highly experienced yoga teacher & mountain guide, Heather Kinang, you’ll be immersed in the vibrant culture of Kathmandu, before journeying through the verdant valleys of eastern Nepal. You’ll ascend from the lush green of the foothills to the vast glaciers and razor-sharp ridgelines of the Everest Himalayas, home of the world's highest peaks.

This once-in-a-lifetime adventure is scheduled to commence 11 December 2024 in Kathmandu (this date may vary slightly subject to flight schedules).

Trekking isn’t all about soaring icy peaks. It’s also about discovering hidden valleys. Thame (pictured below) is a small Sherpa village west of Namche in the Solu-Khumbu District in Nepal. This was the last year-round village on the salt trading route that existed between Tibet, Nepal and India. It’s also the home to many famous Sherpa mountaineers, and will be our lunch destination while exploring Namche.

Join us on this 21-day Himalayan adventure, trekking from Jiri in the middle hills to the magical Gokyo Valley in the Everest National Park.

TREK NEPAL ~ Discover the home of the highest mountain and the friendliest locals in the world on our guided Everest Gokyo Lakes trek.

Embarking on an Everest adventure is one of those dreams that pulls on your heartstrings and never lets go. On your guided trek, you'll hike through friendly Sherpa villages, past the world's highest marketplace at Namche Bazaar and gaze on Mount Everest from many vantage points. When you finally reach Gokyo Village, perhaps climb Gokyo Ri, and raise your trekking poles in celebration, a sense of achievement like you've never felt before will overwhelm you ….. and we'll be with you every step of the way.
