If the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) sets aside your student #visacancellation , it means your visa is reinstated, and you can continue staying in Australia legally.
Here’s what happens next:
1. Visa Reinstatement – Your student visa is restored, allowing you to resume your studies and remain in Australia.
2. Refund of Review Fees – In some cases, you may be eligible for a partial refund of the ART review application fee. Refunds are typically granted if the tribunal finds in your favour.
3. Work Rights Restored – You regain any lost work rights and can continue working if you were not allowed to work as a bridging visa holder.
4. No Deportation Risk – Since the cancellation is overturned, you no longer face removal from Australia.
