Today’s view is of our 737-300 departing out of Incheon’s International Airport, sometimes referred to as Seoul–Incheon International Airport, which is the largest airport in South Korea, serving the Seoul Capital Area
Did you know that Seoul’s climate is temperate, with four distinct seasons. However, temperature ranges in the city can be extreme, rising as high as 35°C in summer and as low as -20°C in winter.
Did you also know that “Have You Eaten Well?” means “How are you?”
When a South Korean asks you this, they are not technically asking if you are hungry or how healthy you eat.
It’s actually more equivalent to how in Australia, we would greet someone with, “How are you?” #wingtipwednesday #funfacts #travelfacts #travelling #seoul #southkorea #aviation #destination #takingoff #avgeek #charter #aircharter #privatecharter #AERgO #aergointernational #makingaviationsimple
@ruokday Life's ups and downs happen to all of us. So chances are someone you know might be struggling. Your genuine support can make a difference whatever they are facing, big or small.
So, don’t wait until someone’s visibly distressed or in crisis. Make a moment meaningful and ask them how they’re really going. #ruok #rureallyok2021 #ruokday #askthequestion #havetheconversation #support #friends #family #workcolleagues #everydaypeople #makeadifference #aergo #aergointernational

Today view… our favourite… the window seat.
Have you ever seen that tiny little hole on the window?? Well did you know that tiny hole in the airplane window is there to regulate cabin pressure. Most airplane windows are made up of three panels of acrylic. The exterior window works as you would expect—keeping the elements out and maintaining cabin pressure. In the unlikely event that something happens to the exterior pane, the second pane acts as a fail-safe option. The tiny hole in the interior window is there to regulate air pressure so the middle pane remains intact and uncompromised until it is called into duty. #wingtipwednesday #funfacts #aviationfacts #planes #windowseat #travel #flying #charter #aircharter #privatecharter #aergo #aergointernational #makingaviationsimple

🛩Wing-Tip Wednesday... Today’s view is of @virginaustralia 737-8FE being “Pushed Back”.
Did you know In aviation, pushback is an airport procedure during which an aircraft is pushed backwards away from an airport gate by external power.
Pushbacks are carried out by special, low-profile vehicles called pushback tractors or tugs.
Although many aircraft are capable of moving themselves backwards on the ground using reverse thrust (a procedure referred to as a powerback), the resulting jet blast or prop wash might cause damage to the terminal building or equipment. Engines close to the ground may also blow sand and debris forward and then suck them into the engine, causing damage to the engine. A pushback is therefore the preferred method to move the aircraft away from the gate. #wingtipwednesday #funfacts #aviationfacts #avgeek #aviationphotography #pushback #charter #aircharter #aergo #makingaviationsimple
🛩Wing-Tip Wednesday.. Today’s view is on descent into beautiful Borneo which as most would know home to the Magnificent Orangutan..
As you can see our aircraft is performing an manoeuvre as we call “Banking”
Did you know “Banking” is where the flight crew will manoeuvre the control stick/column in the cockpit to the left or right making the ailerons on one wing go down and the ailerons on the other wing go up. This then makes the plane tip to the left or right resulting in a turn. Like a bicycle, the plane tilts, or banks, as it turns. This process is also called Roll. #wingtipwednesday #funfacts #aviationfacts #flyingfacts #aircraft #manoevers #banking #aircraftroll #aviation #aviationphotography #charter #aircharter #timelapse #flying #aergo #aergointernational #makingaviationsimple
