A giant ship's engine broke down and no one could repair it, so they hired a Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years of experience.

He inspected the engine very carefully, from top to bottom. After seeing everything, the engineer unloaded his bag and pulled out a small hammer.

He knocked something gently. Soon, the engine came to life again. The engine has been fixed!

A week later the engineer mentioned to the ship owner that the total cost of repairing the giant ship was $20,000.

"What?!" said the owner.

"You did almost nothing. Give us a detailed bill."

You've done it again! You chose a great hotel for us, very well located and quite quirky in design. The two day travel pass was a good idea too.
The highlight however was the time in Bhutan. I don't know whether to describe it as "stunning" or "spectacular", both would do. Even though I got Covid, traveller's diarrhoea and a bit of altitude sickness it was still a fabulous place - a real Shangri La. I managed to do some walking to monasteries etc and almost made it all the way to Tiger's Nest. It was two years since I broke my leg so I was pretty proud of myself. I'd love to go back.

Jennie has been the ideal travel agent. Nothing has ever been a problem and she's gone above and beyond to book things that I'd been told were booked out. Jennie has known what I wanted before I did. That's what makes her such a great agent. She knows her clients so well that she's able to book the perfect hotel, excursion and itinerary that's tailor made for them. She nails it every time and that's why I wouldn't consider going anywhere else or even attempting to do it myself. Holidays won't be the same after she retires. Thank you Jennie.

After much soul searching and reflection the time has come to retire after 42yrs in travel and 2023 will be my last year.

I am not taking new bookings for 2024 or complex itineraries for 2023 which has always been my love and forte.

Richmond Travel were kind enough to provide a platform for me to work from home when the Katoomba office closed and I have no hesitation in recommending either Katrina or Kelly for your future travel needs.
