Sea turtles are living the slow and steady life at the Tangalooma Wrecks 🐢 What an epic wildlife encounter during one of our snorkels of the Tangalooma Wrecks!

These carpet sharks might look a little fierce, but they’re totally harmless; just chilling on the ocean floor, blending in like pros. If you’re lucky, you might catch one up close as it rests among the wrecks.

15 sunken ships, crystal-clear waters, and a marine paradise waiting to be explored. The Tangalooma Wrecks weren’t an accident - these ships were deliberately sunk to create a safe anchorage, and over time, they’ve transformed into an epic artificial reef. Now, they’re home to vibrant coral, tropical fish, sea turtles, and even the occasional dugong!

Snorkelling, shipwrecks, and your best mates - name a better combo. The Tangalooma Wrecks are home to tropical fish, sea turtles, and coral-covered relics just waiting to be explored.
