There's a great battle brewing in the Supersports 65 class between runaway Lake Macquarie round winners Hary Boat Man Bakkr and Shane Paton {Nut Case) - 171-points and Danny and Dean Caelli (Villian) - 123-points, the Caelli's right back into the equation after two wins at Wyndham Harbour. The Supersports 85 class of the Offshore Superboat Championships - Australia is heating up after some fantastic racing at Wyndham Harbour with title rivals 'Special Edition' and 'The Colonel' sharing race wins. Mike Kelly and Jason Kelly though lead the points after a strong season opener at Lake Macquarie, 'The Colonel' on top with 190 points over Mark Pecherzewski and Mel Nelson (Special Edition) on 135, Ryan Shan and Scott Kelly (RS Motorsport) on 92 and Hayden Warszewski (C-%2) on 74. 👊🏁🏆 Hornet Plumbing

The 'Crusty Demons' air-time award for Wyndham Harbour would have to be shared between DLR Offshore and Sam Livesley in his Super V 85 entry, DLR's Steve Lancaster and Craig Dove in particular turning in an epic drive to hound the points leaders through all three races, at one stage on target for a second-placed finish, they never gave up and pushed in every race much to the appreciation of the many fans that lined the foreshore 👊😮🏁 Hornet Plumbing

The Supercat Outboard title battle is really heating up, with nothing now separating old foes The Mantis Offshore Racing and Team 99 The Sting Offshore, Mike Ratcliffe and Karl Wall emerging on top after three wins at Wyndham Harbour, but reigning champions Antony De Fina and Matt Kelly are also there, the two teams sharing 195 points heading into Geelong, DLR Offshore third for Steve Lanacter and Craig Dove on 152 points after a solid run last weekend, TCR Offshore (Scott Richardson and Steve Kelly) suffering a string of setbacks to be fourth (28 points) with it all ahead of them in the coming rounds 👊🏁🏆 Hornet Plumbing

After two rounds of the 2024/25 Offshore Superboat Championships - Australia, reigning Supercat Extreme Champions Darren Nicholson and Peter McGrath and 222 Offshore & 222 Marine (Boost Mobile) are sitting on top of the points, with six race wins to date, 210 points to Acme Racing pty on 122, Andrew Searle and Tom Barry-Cotter suffering two DNFs at Lake Macquarie which proved costly, however they responded strongly with three solid finishes at Wyndham Harbour 👍🏁🏆 Hornet Plumbing
