Their menus are crafted around the harvest from their one-hectare kitchen garden and orchard to maintain a local focus. All their wines are estate grown and made from 100 hectares of sustainably farmed vineyards.

The striking rammed earth building has several beautifully styled and unique areas including a courtyard, bar, restaurant, barrel room and outside gardens. "We had a wonderful weekend staying here with a large group of friends to celebrate a milestone birthday. It comfortably held 19 of us and everything was perfect.
The beds are extremely comfortable, kitchen has absolutely everything youโ€™ll need and the little extra touches like fresh flowers throughout the house make it feel really special. We really enjoyed the spacious spa pool, the fire pit and the outdoor dining space. Location is my favourite area of Hunter valley, away from the crowds and close to the top class vineyards (krinklwood, Margan, whispering brook)

"Our group of ladies had an absolutely fabulous time at Hunter Moon. The house suited our needs perfectly. As it can often be tricky to sleep 19 comfortably. Colette and Mike were amazing hosts getting back to me promptly when calling them with questions about the property. They were extremely accommodating allowing us to have a very late checkout which made it so much easier for our large group to tidy up and pack up. The property was clean and tidy and nicely decorated with antiques and eclectic pieces. It was also very homey. The setting was idyllic and serene with gorgeous vistas and scenery from almost every window or deck. We loved the fresh flowers which were placed on the large table on the outside deck and in the bedrooms. We also appreciated the bottles of wine and lovely local olive oil. Hunter Moon Country House is perfect for large group accommodation in the Hunter Valley. It is situated in an idyllic setting at the foothills of the Broke Fordwich mountains and between some of the best vineyards in the Hunter and 15 mins from Hunter Valley Gardens. Set on 25 private acres only minutes to great restaurants and wedding venues such as Margan, Nightingales, Adamโ€™s Peak and the town of Broke. Surrounded by 13 cellar doors all within a 5 minute drive. Sit on our deck and take in the views of vineyards or stroll down and fish or paddle in the Wollombi Creek meandering around the bottom of the property. This is a purposely built house for large groups which now has 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, outdoor Spa, Fireplace with flexible bedding and dining for up to 23 people.
