"Dear Colette and Mike, I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to host my 60th birthday at Hunter Moon on Saturday! Your property is just stunning and the house is everything I would want if I had a country house.. you open that beautiful front door and look straight out to that magnificent view! The rooms are all so generous and well appointed and all the guests raved about it asking me how we found out.. you may find a few more bookings coming your way! Can I say that the recommendations of Staynsip, The Wilderness Chef and Anna Weatherup were just the best .. it was perfect and even though there was a little drizzle in the middle of the day, it didn’t affect us at all! I am going to send through some photos to you highlighting the day. Mum and dad turn 90 in 2026 so god willing we will be up at Hunter Moon to do it all again! Once more thank you. Beautiful Broke! Apart from the lovely walk around the property and through the fields down to the creek, there are numerous lovely walks in the area. Autumn and Winter are the absolute best times to enjoy the crisp air and blue skies.

"Our group of ladies had an absolutely fabulous time at Hunter Moon. The house suited our needs perfectly. As it can often be tricky to sleep 19 comfortably. Colette and Mike were amazing hosts getting back to me promptly when calling them with questions about the property. They were extremely accommodating allowing us to have a very late checkout which made it so much easier for our large group to tidy up and pack up. The property was clean and tidy and nicely decorated with antiques and eclectic pieces. It was also very homey. The setting was idyllic and serene with gorgeous vistas and scenery from almost every window or deck. We loved the fresh flowers which were placed on the large table on the outside deck and in the bedrooms. We also appreciated the bottles of wine and lovely local olive oil. Hunter Moon Country House is perfect for large group accommodation in the Hunter Valley. It is situated in an idyllic setting at the foothills of the Broke Fordwich mountains and between some of the best vineyards in the Hunter and 15 mins from Hunter Valley Gardens. Set on 25 private acres only minutes to great restaurants and wedding venues such as Margan, Nightingales, Adam’s Peak and the town of Broke. Surrounded by 13 cellar doors all within a 5 minute drive. Sit on our deck and take in the views of vineyards or stroll down and fish or paddle in the Wollombi Creek meandering around the bottom of the property. This is a purposely built house for large groups which now has 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, outdoor Spa, Fireplace with flexible bedding and dining for up to 23 people.
