Our Story
Owners Simon & Lorraine and their great team offer a special experience exploring the beautiful Brunswick River on the purpose built river boat perfect for the shallow waters of the river. Simon is an environmental scientist with a passion for Australian nature and conservation and Lorraine is a keen amateur birder. Together we have developed our unique scenic eco Rainforest River cruises, guided kayaking and SUP (Stand up paddleboarding) tours on the river and its tributaries in Cape Byron Marine Park.
Our commentary gives an insight into the history of the river with some local stories and we point out things of interest as the we cruise along. Guests can look for fish, stingrays and other marine life in the pristine waters. The river is home to over 100 bird species which you can view through the binoculars provided.
The fully enclosed cabin is suitable for all weather and has a licensed bar (for sunset cruises) and toilet. The top viewing deck gives the best views in Brunswick Heads, offering uninterrupted views as you cruise along this lovely waterway.
