Tullaree was once the venue for high society gathering in the prosperous early 1900's. The Victorian style homestead has had a long and colourful history revolving around its past owners, the Clement sisters, and the unsolved mystery disappearance of Margaret Clement, who later became known as the 'Lady of the Swamp'. Tullaree has been lovingly restored, breathing new life into this once neglected
and run down grand mansion. Dark rooms, once heavy with the clutter of Victoriana, have been replaced by fresh calming tones. This has created a soothing ambience reflecting a new generation and a new chapter in this home's life. Original carved timber mantle pieces have been carefully restored and broken window frames reproduced exactly to blend old with the new. Sympathetic to the architecture of the home, some period and period-style furniture has been incorporated into most rooms blending skilfully with the modern day comforts and needs of a young family.
