Stunning 🌅

Along the western shores of Geographe Bay lies Castle Rock, a centrepiece of the Meelup Regional Park.

Thousands of lunar cycles ago the custodians of this land, the Wadandi (Saltwater) People named this area Meelup which translates to "Place of the Moon Rising".

When we visit this incredible place we leave only footprints and take only photos (that we wish were as good as 📸 Southwest Saltwater here) and acknowledge their connection to the land.

The walk trials that wind through the bush land and along this magnificent coastline provide travellers with a low impact way to immerse themselves in all that nature has to offer.

This corner of The Margaret River Region is found just a few kilometres north of Dunsborough, and is one of our most cherished assets and is truly a must see at any time of year, season or day.

The STS Leeuwin II has arrived and is looking beautiful as always alongside the Busselton Jetty. ⚓️⚓️

The annual Festival of Busselton Pirate Competition is on tomorrow (Tuesday 11th January), head to Festival of Busselton for more details.

Leeuwin Open Ship & Tours are also happening tomorrow,
12pm – 4pm, for a gold coin donation at the ship.

Why not join an Underwater Observatory Tour at 11am, 12pm, 1pm or 2pm then walk back to shore and visit the ship on your way past?
