Meet Charlie! 🇳🇵

Charlie came all the way from New Zealand to Nepal to ride with us. He’d never been on an Ellwood trip before, didn’t know a soul, and had never done anything like this in his life.

In his own words — “On the first day, I was absolutely 💩ing myself. I thought, ‘I’m way out of my depth here… what have I done?’”

But in true Ellwood style, we made sure Charlie felt right at home. With plenty of support and encouragement from the crew (and a few laughs along the way), Charlie went from doubting himself to absolutely smashing it — riding through the mighty Himalayas with an incredible group of riders who are now mates for life.

We reckon this won’t be the last time we see you, Charlie… and we can’t wait for round two!

Day 5 and we have explored Upper Mustang all the way to Lo Manthang to check out the ancient caves.

There are over 10000 man made caves in the mountains and researches have found partially mummified human bodies and skeletons that are at least 2,000–3,000 years old 🤯

12 days ripping through Nepal and the Himalayas and what a trip it was!
SO many laughs, plenty of Gorkahs 🍻, high altitudes, plenty of challenges but no shortage of adventure.

Massive shoutout to this awesome crew, some first-timers and some on their 6th ride with us, but all absolute legends!!
You might start as a new rider on our tours, but you always leave with a bunch of new mates for life.

What an absolutely epic, unforgettable adventure! 🙌🏼
The High Country is wild, untamed, and simply stunning. From its towering peaks to its hidden valleys, it’s a landscape that constantly leaves you in awe and guessing with every turn.

Through the highs, the lows, the challenges, and the triumphs — every moment has been different each day and this is the kind of journey that stays with you forever. New friendships, memories that will last a lifetime and the beauty of the unknown.

🙋‍♀️A true adventure enthusiast, Nikki is a proud moto mum to her son Vinn, who races in the competitive MX1 and MX2 motocross classes. When she’s not cheering him on, you can find her fishing, riding motorbikes, or reliving her own epic journeys—she’s even tackled a Cape York trip with us, so she knows exactly what it takes to craft a truely epic, unforgettable experience!
