📢 Service Announcement - Pacific Adventure V425 - Delayed departure today

Hi friends 👋

Our comms team have sent the below notice for todays Pacific Adventure delayed departure.

We are writing to you today with an update to the check-in and departure time of cruise onboard Pacific Adventure, V425, departing today, Friday 14 June.

Pacific Adventure is currently experiencing heavy swell and strong winds on her way back to Sydney, delaying her arrival tomorrow.

Due to the later arrival, check-in for your clients’ cruise will now be 2 hours later than their original check-in time, as selected in Cruise Control.

Updated check-in times are below:

Original Check-in | NEW Check-in

12:00pm – 12:30pm - 2:00pm – 2:30pm

12:30pm-1:00pm - 2:30pm – 3:00pm

1:00pm – 1:30pm - 3:00pm – 3:30pm

1:30pm – 2:00pm - 3:30pm – 4:00pm

2:00pm – 2:30pm - 4:00pm – 4:30pm

2:30pm – 3:00pm - 4:30pm – 5:00pm

We kindly request clients add 2 hours to their check-in time, as selected in Cruise Control. If they have yet to select a check-in time, please advise them to log in to Cruise Control to do so.

To minimise congestion in the terminal while guests are disembarking, we do kindly ask for clients’ cooperation in delaying their arrival at the terminal based on the updated check-in times.

All guests will need to complete check-in and board Pacific Adventure by 5pm. Pacific Adventure is now due to depart White Bay Cruise Terminal at 6pm.

If clients have booked Central Station or Airport transfers, these will still operate at the same time.

To help share this information with clients, an sms and email has been sent to all guests where a mobile phone number and/or a valid email address has been provided on the booking. We also kindly ask for your assistance in ensuring clients are aware of this information.

We apologise for this change to the start to clients’ cruise holiday and thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to welcoming clients onboard Pacific Adventure very soon.

P&O aficionados, fear not the coming changes, or rather exit, of P&O Cruises Australia from the local market, says Carnival Cruises' Christine Duffy.

So the news is out P&O are to be rebranded as Carnival ships and Pacific Explorer is going.
I am not sorry to be saying farewell to the old lady as she is now looking worse for wear and certainly needs to be retired.
I will be keeping you updated as to what is going on as I find out. This is fresh news and sad news to me so at the moment I know as much as you all do.

Please give me time to find out more as things progress into March 2025 when this all takes effect.

I will still be promoting P&O and selling them as Carnival will do the right thing as far as the sailings go both current and future.

Due to the ongoing civil unrest in New Caledonia and with a state of emergency declared, we are unfortunately unable to visit Noumea on the upcoming Fiji Adventure cruise, V422.

Our thoughts remain with the affected communities in New Caledonia at this time. Pacific Adventure will now spend the day at sea.

Below is the new itinerary V422. This will be updated in our systems later today.
