This Christmas, we're spreading cheer and sustainability! 🎄💚

Our electric buses have saved a remarkable 235 tonnes of CO2 this year. That's equivalent to planting 10,000 trees! 🌳

Each day, our Kuranda Tour saves 185kg of CO2 (8.5 trees). Annually, that's a significant reduction of 65 tonnes (2925 trees).

Through our partnership with Reforest, we've planted 228 trees and offset 52 tonnes of CO2 this year.

World Sustainable Transport Day 🌍🚍

Today we celebrate World Sustainable Transport Day and Tropic Wings' major milestone in its Towards Sustainable Transport in Tourism project!

This $10.2 million initiative, supported by ARENA, has integrated 12 new electric buses and advanced charging infrastructure into operation. This collaboration with industry leaders is revolutionising sustainable tourism in Tropical North Queensland.

To mark the occasion, we held interviews this morning with The CaPTA Group Director of Operations and Projects Michael Woodward, Tropic Wings General manager Colin Anderson, EnergyAustralia Head of Green Transport Jack Kotlyar, and Tourism Tropical North Queensland CEO Mark Olsen.

By transitioning to a fleet of electric buses and coaches, Tropic Wings is setting new industry standards and shaping a greener future for generations to come.
