This gorgeous natural swimming hole is located in the Tropical North Queensland coastal town of Cardwell (2.5 hours south of Cairns). The water is largely fed from underground and the colour is due to a mix of minerals which at different times of day, can look blighter or a lighter blue colour... like in this photo.

They don't call it one of the best beaches in Australia for nothing. Just look at those gorgeous hues! This is Nudey Beach on Fitzroy Island, located 45 minutes away by ferry transfer from Cairns Marlin Marina. And in case you're wondering... no, you don't get your kit off there 🤣

Where is this stunning view?! This is the epic located on the Palmerston Highway if your travelling from the Atherton Tablelands to the coast or visa versa. It's an elevated walkway meandering through the rainforest, 350 m long and rising from ground level to 15 meters above the ground, showcasing spectacular views over the Wet Tropics of the traditional country of the Ma:Mu Aboriginal people.

Can you find Wally? 🕵️

The Great Barrier Reef is home to a large species of fish called a Maori Wrasse. One resident is known as Wally. Hopefully you will find him on your day out on the reef.

Take the plunge!
