Eligible Student visa holders and Working Holiday Makers who travel to and arrive in Australia between 19 January 2022 and 19 March 2022 will be refunded their visa application charge.

The refund applies to current offshore visa holders and new applicants who arrive within that period.

The Prime Minister announced on 13 January 2022 that the Commonwealth has temporarily lifted the 40 hour per fortnight work limitation placed on international students.

The 40-hours a fortnight cap was already removed for students working in certain critical sectors, but now apply to ALL STUDENTS, no matter what industry they are working in.

This decision has been made to help ease workforce shortages caused by the spread of COVID-19.

We hope to share more details soon. In the meantime, feel free to contact us if you have any questions about studying in Australia or if you need help applying for a student visa.

TODAY is the the day we have all been waiting for!!🔥🥳

FINALLY! After a long 2 years, Australia's borders are reopening!! Welcoming back fully vaccinated international students, skilled workers and other eligible visa holders.

Those who are eligible and are fully vaccinated can enter Australia without a travel exemption. Keep in mind that you will still have to follow the state border restrictions and quarantine rules.

This is great news for those who already hold a valid visa to Australia. If you do not hold a visa yet and you need help applying for one, leave a comment below or get in touch with our team!

Australia was due to reopen to international students, skilled migrants as well as humanitarian, working holiday makers and provisional family visa holders from 1st December.

However, the Federal Government has postponed the opening of the borders until 15 December to allow time to get information on the new Omicron variant of COVID-19.

Newsflash📢 The length of certain The
length of certain Temporary Graduate Visas (485) will
be extended!!

Masters by Coursework - Will increase from two to
three years, matching that of Masters by research
graduates.

Vocational Education and Training (VET) - Graduates
will increase from 1.5 to a two-year Temporary
Graduate visa.

This announcement is great news for COVID 19
affected Graduate Visa holders and for international
students intending to apply for a graduate visa upon
completing their course 🙌

EXCITING NEWS!! Travel restrictions are to ease when 70% and 80% of eligible Queenslanders are fully vaccinated. 💉

Here's what you need to know:

70% expected by Friday the 19th November.

Entering Queensland from a Hotspot:
- By air only
- Must be fully vaccinated
- Must test negative to COVID-19 within previous 72 hours
- Must quarantine

Overseas Arrivals:
- Flying directly into Queensland must hotel quarantine for 14 days
- Entering Queensland from other states must hotel quarantine until 14 days have passed since arrival into Australia

80% expected by Friday the 17th December.

Entering Queensland from a Hotspot:
- By air or road
- Must be fully vaccinated
- Must test negative to Covid-19 within previous 72 hours
- No quarantine is required

Overseas Arrivals:
- Fully vaccinated arrivals with a negative Covid-19 test within 72 hours can home quarantine
- International arrivals who do not meet these conditions must hotel quarantine for 14 days

90% No Border Restrictions or Quarantine for the fully vaccinated people.
Unvaccinated people will need to meet requirements for entry and undertake a period of quarantine.

New South Wales - Announces Scrapping of Mandatory Quarantine for international Arrivals from 1st November 2021.

This only applies to returning Australian Permanent Residents, Citizens and their immediate family members who can come to Australia without a travel exemption.
